How can I help my child choose an outfit that photographs well?
You want the student to feel comfortable and like themself in their outfit—this will shine through in the picture. Instead of buying something new, encourage them to choose something they love that reflects their personality. Aim for a simple and classic look, and consider solid colors over busy patterns or heavily branded clothing. Slogans may be fun, but they’re best saved for another day—on Picture Day, the student should be the focus, not their outfit. Remember, school dress code still applies!
Once the outfit is chosen, give the entire look a final check. It’s fine to try something slightly new with hair or makeup, but avoid drastic changes right before Picture Day—simple and polished always works best.
Will there be anything available to help my child look their best?
Yes! Teachers and parent volunteers escort classes to the camera and assist with last-minute touch-ups. Combs, facial tissues and wet wipes will be available upon request before the student is photographed.
What if my child misses Picture Day?
If your child is absent on Picture Day, don’t worry—many schools schedule a fall absentee day to ensure every student has the opportunity to be photographed. Check with your school for the specific date and details.

How do I order and pay for portraits?
Ordering school portraits is simple and convenient! You can choose from several payment options, including cash, check, credit card via online. Detailed instructions on how to place your order will be provided on the Picture Day flyer sent home with your student, or you can visit our website to view packages and complete your purchase online.
When will portraits be delivered?
Portraits are typically delivered to the school within three weeks after Picture Day and distributed to students in class. If you prefer, you may choose to have your order shipped directly to your home via USPS—perfect for added convenience. Please note that some reorders and specialty items may automatically ship to your home. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your school’s schedule and the shipping method selected.
Digital download orders that are placed online only will be delivered to the email address provided on the order ahead of the package delivery to the school.
What if I don’t like the portraits?
Your satisfaction is our top priority—that’s why we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. If you're not happy with your child's portraits, you can have your student rephotographed during Absentee Day.
If you choose to have your child rephotographed and have already purchased a package, please be sure to return the entire original package to the photographer. Your portrait package will be reprinted using the updated photo and the new image will be used in the yearbook.
Can I order more portraits later?
Yes! You can order additional prints and photo gifts after Picture Day. Whether you're looking to purchase extra copies for family or want to explore keepsake options, it's easy to do. Simply call the studio or visit our visit our website to browse available products and place your order at your convenience.
Can I get a copyright release?
Yes! When you purchase a downloadable digital image, you'll receive an electronic copyright release, allowing you to print and share the photo as you wish. This release grants you the legal right to reproduce the image for personal use—such as making additional prints, creating gifts, or sharing online with family and friends.
