School Picture Day - FAQs

Choose an outfit that helps your child feel comfortable, confident and like themselves. When students feel good about what they are wearing, it shows in their portraits.

For the best results:

• Choose simple, classic clothing in colors your child enjoys.
• Consider solid colors or subtle patterns instead of busy designs.
• Avoid large logos, slogans and heavily branded clothing that may draw attention away from your child’s face.
• Make sure the outfit follows the school’s dress code.
• Check the complete outfit ahead of time to ensure everything fits comfortably.

It is fine to try a slightly different hairstyle or makeup look, but avoid making dramatic changes immediately before Picture Day. A simple, polished look photographs beautifully.

Yes. Teachers and parent volunteers will escort classes to the photography area and may assist with last-minute touch-ups. Combs, facial tissues and wet wipes will also be available upon request before your child is photographed.

Many schools schedule a fall Absentee Day so students who missed the original Picture Day still have an opportunity to be photographed. Please contact your school for the Absentee Day date and additional details.

Portrait packages are typically delivered to the school within approximately three weeks after Picture Day and distributed to students in class.

Depending on the ordering options available for your school, you may also be able to have your order shipped directly to your home through USPS. Some reorders and specialty products may automatically be shipped to the address provided with the order.

Delivery times may vary slightly based on the school’s schedule, the products ordered and the selected shipping method.

Online orders containing digital downloads will be delivered to the email address entered when the order was placed. Digital images are generally delivered before printed portrait packages arrive at the school.

Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the delivery email in your inbox.

Your satisfaction is important to us, and your order is protected by our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

If your school offers an Absentee Day, your child may be rephotographed. If you have already purchased a portrait package, please return the entire original package to the photographer on Absentee Day. We will reprint the package using the new portrait, and the updated image will also be submitted for the yearbook.
